Paper Paintings

Paper Paintings are created using collage as a medium. Different values of each color used in the painting can be torn from magazine photos, wrapping paper, old notecards, letters from friends.  Torn paper is glued over a rough acrylic sketch of the subject. The results are breathtaking. The gallery in the link below features artwork by the prolific Elizabeth St. Hilaire Nelson.
